A collection inspired by the vibrant, sun-soaked charm of Portugal’s stunning coastline.
Last summer, while traveling in Europe, I decided to extend my stay and spend a few days in Portugal. It had been on my radar for quite some time, and I was dying to see what it had to offer.
I chose to focus my time in Lisbon, thinking it would be the best experience for the few days I had. I arrived late in the evening and, despite my curiosity, resisted the urge to venture out. I had big plans for the coming days and wanted to start fresh. Each morning, I woke up early, and hit the streets walking—I was on a mission to explore as much of the city as possible.
Lisbon turned out to be a gem of inspiration. Every street I wandered down revealed intricately tiled facades in the most beautiful color palettes and patterns. Even the doorways were gorgeous—some bright, others sun-washed to a perfect hue, and many adorned in bougainvillea.
As I wandered the streets, I popped into shops ranging from art galleries to high-end and local boutiques. I noticed the attention to detail in everything… intricate wire-wrapped jewelry, thoughtful color choices and lots of texture. The street style was especially fun to see as well. A vibrant mix of bold colors and playful patterns that somehow felt both carefree and perfectly curated.
To refuel, I stopped at cafes and restaurants I had bookmarked before the trip. As a food lover, I never travel without a list of spots to try. Lisbon's dining scene did not disappoint. Each plate was a work of art, and the interiors were equally inspiring—fun wallpapers, unique lighting, and thoughtful details at every turn. I’m pretty sure I ate more seafood in those few days than I normally do in an entire year.
The city—and the surrounding areas—were a brilliant blend of rich history, modern design, and fresh energy. A crossroads of a diverse cultural city, mixed with coastal charm.
I left feeling inspired and excited to book a return visit. I knew immediately that I wanted to create a collection as a nod to my time there, and got started with the team right away. Sardines would represent the incredible food and culture, the color palette would mirror the vibrant fashion and tile work, and shell elements would reflect the coastal landscape.
It was such a fun collection to design, and I hope it brings joy and a sense of escapism to anyone who wears it.

Behind The Scenes of the Shoot
Our model: Beatriz- She’s the biggest sweetheart & is actually from Portugal!
Photo & Video team: Paula Ortega & Marina Mantolan Legends that scout amazing locations & capture the lighting so perfectly.
The day started with a massive rain & lightning storm. Thankfully the sky cleared just in time for our first look.
Our videographers family home was so beautiful that it became an unexpected shoot location.
This scene was fun but a little nerve racking. We were worried the owner might come out and see us handling their laundry. Our best excuse…for the sake of art?!
You know the model is cool when she doesn’t even blink at the idea of eating sardines on set.
